ADRIAN. NOVEMBER 2015. Yvonne was an incredible host and her home is an experience that must be taken while visiting Speyside. I have never stayed in accommodation so well equipped and as beautifully and remotely located as Glenarder. I wish we could have stayed longer – maybe next time.

One of the best assets of the property are the beautiful views from every window, every angle. The view from the bathroom in particular was stunning. We were hoping for seclusion and privacy, and that’s exactly what Glenarder gave us.

Absolutely stunning location in the middle of the whisky trail. The views from the property are stunning and if you are lucky enough to have westher that permits you to sleep with windows open you wake up and hear the sheep grazing the neigbouring fields.

Glenarder was our favourite location during our ramble across Britain.
…just as I imagine ‘corrie’ (the Scottish art of deriving comfort, wellbeing and energy from wild landscapes and convivial interiors) should be. Picture windows provide the perfect connection with the outdoors framing the mountains and pastures. We loved spotting bounding bunnies/hares and funny pheasants
We’d love to visit again when it’s slightly warmer so we can sit outdoors by the fire…and watch the stars.

I chose Yvonne’s cottage because it looked like a stylish yet comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of the country. Everything about our visit was perfect; Yvonne was incredibly attentive, the cottage was immaculate, and a roaring fire on a blustery night was the perfect way to unwind after traveling frequently this fall. Go out of your way to stay here – it is one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed!”.

AURELIUS Absolutely perfect. Thé cottage is lovely, very well equiped and decorated. The countryside and landscape around the cottage is wonderful. We had a great stay at the Glenarders. Hopefully we will be able to come back some day.
